My recent life in a nutshell

The past few years have been a hell of a ride, taking me to many places around the globe. This timeline offers a glimpse into my recent activities and experiences. While my path might not fit everyone's idea of glamorous, it has been rich with rewarding experiences and personal growth. Through a series of thrilling highs and challenging lows, I've acquired a wealth of valuable lessons that have shaped who I am today. Looking ahead, I'm filled with anticipation and excitement for the adventures that are yet to come.

Jul Graduation M.Sc.

Two years of intense study have now concluded, and with immense relief and a profound sense of achievement, I have earned my Master’s degree. I am now ready to embark on my next adventure in Japan.

Apr Starting my Master's degree

After an incredible time in New Zealand and with the world returning to normalcy, I was ready to return to Munich to pursue a Master’s degree. It was the longest I had been away from my hometown, and returning made me realize how much I had grown as a person during my time abroad.

Jan Moving to New Zealand

Over two exhilarating years have passed since my move to Japan, and I found myself eager to explore new horizons. The opportunity to reunite and live with my brother in New Zealand was exciting. Although leaving Japan felt like a refreshing new chapter, I soon found myself missing Japanese cuisine.

Oct Getting my Japanese Driver License

After several months of diligent driving lessons and classes conducted entirely in Japanese, I successfully passed my final exam, becoming the proud owner of a Japanese driver's license! During this period, I juggled two jobs and began developing my full-stack coding skills.

Oct Moving to Japan

In the midst of uncertain times, I made the bold decision to move to Chiba, Japan, seeking a lifestyle closer to the ocean and motivated by the ambition to enhance my Japanese language skills.

After dedicating years to my studies and spending the last year working diligently at Infineon Technologies in Munich, I have finally completed my undergraduate degree. I'm thrilled to now hold my Bachelor's graduation certificate in my hands!

    After spending just over two years in Munich pursuing my Master's degree in Applied Semiconductor Physics, I began to feel exhausted—and increasingly drawn toward adventure and the ocean. Driven by ambition, I pushed myself to achieve strong results at university and secure internships with two prestigious companies in Munich. Throughout this demanding period, I also continued working at Suuapinga to save money for the next chapter of my life. While I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I have had growing up here, I have realized that I thrive in a dynamic lifestyle—one that allows me to keep exploring what lies beyond the horizon. So, I will once again pack my bags and leave this city—hopefully for the last time—knowing that the opportunities ahead were made possible by the effort I have put in until now.

    When I was living in New Zealand, I was based in Tauranga, but I made sure to take trips around the country whenever I could. One of the most memorable journeys was a long drive from Mount Maunganui to Taranaki. It was a bit of a trek, but we were excited for the adventure. Of course, we were hoping to catch some waves along the way, but the main goal was to visit the iconic Mount Taranaki. Upon arriving in the town, we were greeted by overcast skies and cold weather, which completely obscured the mountain from view. Disappointed, we thought we might not get the chance to see it at all. But the next day, the clouds parted, the wind died down, and we were finally able to hike to the foot of the volcano. The sight of Mount Taranaki in all its majestic glory was worth the wait, and of course, we couldn’t resist taking a ton of photos. After our hike, we headed down the coast and managed to score some great waves, making the trip even more rewarding. It was one of those perfect days where everything seemed to fall into place.

    After more than three years apart, all three brothers were finally reunited in New Zealand. It was hard to believe that we—born and raised in Munich, Germany—were now living together at the furthest point from home, on the other side of the world. Based in Tauranga, we decided to make a road trip to Raglan, one of New Zealand's most iconic surf towns. Unfortunately, we didn’t score the famous waves at Manu Bay on that trip, but we did discover Ulo's Kitchen, where we enjoyed some of the best food we’d had in ages. The atmosphere was incredible, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. Though we didn’t get the surf we were hoping for that time, we returned to Raglan many more times, each visit bringing us perfect waves and unforgettable moments together. It was a magical place, and having the chance to experience it with my brothers made every trip even more special.
